The cozy home-like atmosphere and excellent furnishings were absolutely mind-blowing! The cottage's location was perfect for exploring the jaw-droppingly beautiful area of Wales, with safe off-site car parking. The friendly locals and peaceful village made for a super relaxing stay. It was incredible to be just minutes away from Zip World and the deep mine tour. The gorgeous slate fireplace was a sight to behold! The free Wi-Fi and Now TV were a fantastic bonus, and having TVs and DVDs in each room was just genius. The decor and amenities were top-notch, and the property was wonderfully warm upon arrival. The area itself was simply great. Plus, the fact that pets were allowed and it was a no-smoking property was a huge plus.

The room at Carreg Lwyd was absolutely perfect for our family! We loved the cozy atmosphere and the comfortable beds. It felt like a home away from home, and the kids were thrilled with the TV and DVD player. The kitchenette was a great bonus too!
The only thing we didn't love was that there was only one bathroom with a bath or shower.

The central location was convenient for zip world and the deep mine tour, just a five-minute drive away. The parking up the road was safe and easily accessible. The cottage was small and cosy, with a beautiful slate fireplace and useful amenities such as WiFi and Now TV.
The heating system was unreliable, causing discomfort on cold days.

Had a fantastic stay at a charming cottage perfectly situated for local activities. The central location allowed for easy access to zip world and deep mine tour, which were just five minutes away. The cottage was small and cozy, providing a homey atmosphere. The fireplace with its slate decor was a sight to behold. The availability of WiFi and Now TV was an added bonus. Despite a minor parking inconvenience on the main road, the cottage was clean, well-furnished, and offered all necessary amenities. I highly recommend this place for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The bathroom with a bath or shower was fantastic! It felt so cozy and relaxing, like a little oasis. As a busy parent, I loved being able to take a nice long soak after a day of exploring.
Personally, I would have preferred if the bathroom had a separate shower instead of just a shower in one of the bathrooms. But hey, everyone has different preferences, right?

I felt like I was in a luxurious spa, surrounded by pure relaxation. As a tired business traveler, it was the perfect spot to unwind and soak away the stress of the day.
Personally, I preferred the bathroom with just the shower. But hey, that's just my taste!

I stayed at Carreg Lwyd for a few nights and it was perfect for my visit to Zip World and the Deep Mine Tour. The cottage was small but cozy, and the central location made it easy to explore the village and interact with friendly locals. I felt safe parking my car up the road, and the village was pleasantly quiet. The highlight for me was the beautiful slate over the fireplace. The cottage was well-furnished, clean, and had all the amenities I needed, including WiFi and Now TV. It truly felt like a home away from home.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The location of the cottage was ideal for our Christmas getaway. It was centrally located and close to attractions like Zip World and the deep mine tour. The cottage itself was small and cozy, giving us a home away from home feeling. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it was well-furnished and had all the amenities we needed, including Now TV and DVD players in each room.
The parking situation was a bit inconvenient, especially when it was raining heavily. There was no private off-road parking available, and finding a space on the busy main road was a bit challenging.

The room at Carreg Lwyd was cozy and welcoming, with a touch of rustic charm. I loved the comfortable bed and the warm color scheme that made me feel right at home. The bathroom with a bath or shower was just what we needed after a long day of exploring the beautiful surroundings.
The only thing I didn't quite enjoy was the bathroom with a shower. It was a bit cramped for my liking, but others might still find it perfectly adequate for their needs.
